Famous Artists’ Works Surface at Philadelphia Museum of Art

At the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the exhibit, dubbed “Gauguin, Cézanne, Matisse: Visions of Arcadia,” reveal famous artists’ s insights and interpretations of a mystical world of bliss. ” The exhibit also features the works of other famous artists: Pablo Picasso, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Albert Gleizes, and Paul Signac. The Arcadia concept, which was a common theme in art and poetry during the early 19th century , depicts a mural sized painting of an enchanting place, where peace and happiness are omnipresent.
